Tallula was acquired from the Cortland Humane Society when she was 15 pounds and 12 weeks old.  She is 10 years old and is a spayed female pit bull boxer mix.  Her breed name is a “Norwegian Rhinoceros Terrier”.  She loves to go rollerblading, hiking, swimming and eating her meal out of her Everlasting Treat Ball™.  Tallula began showing some dog aggression when she was 2 yrs old (not unusual for a pit bull mix).  We have been working on this problem and she has shown dramatic improvement.

 

Mimi was acquired through Adobe Animal Hospital when she was 1 year old.  She was a stray that someone had found in a parking lot.  Mimi is 7 years old and is a spayed female Chihuahua Papillion mix.  Her breed name is a “Boca Del Torro”.  She loves to sit in the sun, jump off the people bed onto the dog bed, lick my nose and do agility. 
Mimi came with an assortment of behavior problems.  She was not potty trained at all, and she was the most fearful dog I have ever seen.  Mimi would not eat in my presence for several weeks once I took her home and would not come out of her crate for 2 weeks.  Once she realized that she was safe, she began to relax.  Mimi is still afraid of a lot of things but will walk down the street with her tail up, will greet new people by targeting their hands, and loves to do agility.  She is my brave girl and is getting better every day.

 

 

Tommy is 11 years old and appeared at my window when he was a kitten while I was in vet school.  He is a bold and assertive cat who gets along well with everybody.  He is what I call an alpha cat and demands attention on his terms.  When he is not driving me crazy with his head butting "kisses" he is really sweet.
