I believe that every pet has the potential to be the best pet you have ever had.  Helping your pet achieve that potential may not be as difficult as you think.  Maybe you just don’t know who to ask.  I am here to help your pet become that best pet.

    Behavior Counseling:
  • Detailed history
  • Interview people involved
  • Observe animal(s) involved
  • Behavior program based on diagnosis of problem
    • Management techniques to help cope with the problem now
    • Behavior Modification using positive training methods
  • Follow-up sessions may be required in some cases
  • Short phone calls and emails for progress updates and continued support for 6 months following our last session
  • Initial consult usually takes 60 - 90 minutes
  • In-home visit $125/hr
  • In-clinic visit $100/hr

    Puppy/New Dog Coaching:
  • In-home visit
  • Puppy proofing house
  • Housetraining (potty in the right place)
  • Soft mouth (bite inhibition)
  • Socialization coaching (how to do it safely)
  • Sit, Down, Come
  • Walk on leash
  • Proper chew toy habits
  • Crate training
  • Establishing routines and leadership
  • Advice on books and videos
  • Minor medical questions
  • $150 for two 1-hr sessions 
  • $135 for two 1-hr sessions if from rescue group/shelter

    Pre-puppy and kitten selection counseling:
  • Choosing the right breed
  • Choosing the right age
  • How to choose where to get your pet
  • What to look for in your potential pet
  • Free 20 minute phone consult
 
    CPR and First Aid for Dogs and Cats :
  • Learn how to tell when your pet is seriously ill
  • Learn what to do in case of emergency
  • Learn how to perform CPR and First Aid
  • Learn how to fashion an emergency muzzle
  • Learn how to move an injured pet
  • Learn about common medical emergencies and how to spot them
  • This program is for groups only (5 people min – 15 people max)
  • Handouts included
  • $45/person for a 3-hour hands on session
