Our vet referred Ericka to us. He thought she could help us with
the issues we were having with Madie, our 6 month old vizsla
puppy. Now after several sessions with Ericka, she is so much
better behaved. Everything we have worked on has been so
helpful. Many of our friends have commented on how much better
behaved Madie is since we've started working with Ericka. It's so
nice to have the tools to get her to respond better to us. I'm
amazed at how quickly her leash walking improved after just one
session. We use the tools we've learned from Ericka every day.
Madie used to jump up on us every time we came into the room. Now
she jumps much less. Walks were difficult, now she walks nicely
by my side, even when she knows we are going to play with the other
neighborhood dogs. She sits nicely and waits for her
dinner. She's so much more enjoyable!!!! I would most definitely
recommend Ericka’s services to my friends!! In fact I've already
recommended her to two of our friends. Ericka is a pleasure to
work with. My two children have been joining us in our training
sessions. She is very patient with them and talks so that they
can easily understand how to work with Madie. She has such an
easy way about her, it makes our sessions fun and very
worthwhile. I have heard many people say that their trainers made
them feel bad for the way they had been handling their dog.
Ericka is very positive and proactive. I've never felt anything
but comfortable working with her. We all look forward to her
visits.

The staff at our veterinarian’s hospital referred Ericka to us. Parker
is my first dog and there are a few dog rules that everyone should know
about in order to protect the dog as well as people. Ericka
showed us that there was a reason for his actions and that by us making
a few changes it won't happen again. The most beneficial idea I gained
from her is that Parker is not a mean dog and that we need to separate
him from our guest in order to protect him, not because he is a bad
dog. We learned that when Parker is on the ground or in his bed we are
to never bend over the top of him. It's a "dog thing" and not to blame
Parker. We now know our boundaries with Parker and what body language
is threatening to him.
Thanks much for helping my family understand Parker. He is a great dog and we love him dearly.

Ericka appeared to be a natural at
getting dogs to sit, stay, come and down. From the first training
lesson I was extremely impressed with her abilities to train
dogs. She brings a lot of energy to the training classes and is
not a judgmental person. She has a world of patience and awareness that
compliments her training style.
Ericka’s veterinary and behavior modification experience, her ability
to understand client’s needs, and her understanding of the way dogs
learn made training a breeze. Many clients requested Ericka to join us
for their training sessions after meeting with her.
Ericka’s veterinary and behavior counseling experience was a big plus
as she was able to deliver not only training viewpoints but behavior
viewpoints as well. Ericka is a very classy person and she impressed me
with her expertise and her abilities to get the job done. Ericka
surpassed my highest expectations as a trainer. It gives me
great pride and immense pleasure to present the newest animal behavior
college graduate Ericka Mendez.
