Puppy Parties
Prevent growling, biting, fear of strangers, and other behavior problems in your puppy.
Raise your puppy into a calm, polite adult dog that gets along with everyone.
How? Early socialization.
If you want your puppy to accept new people, dogs, and experiences throughout his life, you have to get him used to it from the very beginning. Why the urgency? The window for socializing your puppy is short: The first 16 weeks of his life. This is where you lay the critical foundation, so don’t delay.
Come to our Puppy Parties at Flagler Animal Hospital. Your puppy will meet lots of friendly people and play with other young puppies—all great socialization. Parties are supervised by Dr Ericka Mendez, a veterinarian and certified dog trainer.
Where? Flagler Animal Hospital (in the lobby), 130 King’s Road S, Flagler Beach, FL
When? One Saturday per month, 1–2pm.
For? Puppies 8 weeks to 5.5 months of age (6–7 months for small/shy puppies)
Is it safe? We employ all possible health and safety measures: All puppies are vaccinated. All puppy parents have to clean up thoroughly after their puppy. The hospital lobby is cleaned with anti-bacterial, anti-viral disinfectant before each Puppy Party.
What to bring? Proof of vaccination. Puppies must have received first round of shots for distemper and parvo at least 7 days before coming to a Puppy Party. Intranasal bordetella is recommended.
How much? Puppy Parties are FREE.
